Cause and Effect

In Language Arts, students are studying the concept of cause and effect. Today we reviewed that cause is WHY something happens, and the effect is WHAT happens.  We learned a lot of KEY WORDS that will help us identify cause and effect when we are reading.  Using these key words and what they know, students should watch the video on the side to see if they can identify the cause and effect.

VIRTUAL HOMEWORK...What's for Dinner?

Do you like pizza? Well, your virtual teacher does, and I am looking forward to making homemade pizza for dinner tomorrow, but I need your help! My recipe for pizza got all mixed up, and I don't know what order the steps go. Since the sequence is so important, I need your help putting the steps in the right order.

Here are the steps I have:

Eat and enjoy!
Cut into pieces.
Take the pizza out of the oven and turn it off.

Make the crust and spread it on the pan.

Wait for the pizza to bake.
Put the pizza into the warm oven.

Get all ingredients out to make the pizza and preheat the oven.

Put on cheese and any other toppings.

Spread the tomato sauce onto the crust.

Please reorder them in the correct sequence for tomorrow.  I am counting on you!
Hint:  There are nines steps, so your paper should be numbered 1-9.
